Andaman Guide is an independent travel publication for people planning their own trip to the Andaman Islands.
Editorial standards
Every guide should help a traveller make a decision, not merely provide a long list. Sources and checked dates are shown where details can change. Drawbacks belong beside recommendations. The site does not link to booking providers.
First person is used for editorial judgement only. We do not invent visits, conversations, tests, local status or a guide identity.
How facts are checked
Official administration, transport, tourism, police, forest and district sources come first. A hotel, ferry or venue can be a source for its own price, rule or facility. If reliable sources conflict, the uncertainty is stated or the claim is removed.
Keeping guides current
A changed date should mean the substance was reviewed. Schedules, prices, permits, opening arrangements and access rules are checked again before a material update. Travellers should still confirm operational details before payment or a fixed-date plan.
Useful guidance says what to choose, why it fits and what can go wrong.
Corrections
If a published fact is wrong or has changed, it should be corrected with a fresh source and a visible review date. A public corrections address will be added after it is configured and verified.
